Pet Life Journey is designed to keep your information on your own device. This page explains what's stored, what's sent elsewhere, and why.

Your pet's profile, checklists, appointments, care routine, records, and preferences are saved only in your browser's local storage. Nothing is uploaded to a Pet Life Journey server or account — there is no account to begin with. Clearing your browser data, or using "Start over" in the app, permanently deletes this information.

When you use certain features, a small amount of information is sent to these outside services to make the feature work:

• OpenStreetMap Nominatim — turns a postal/ZIP code or address you type into map coordinates.
• Overpass API — looks up nearby vets, trainers, and shelters using your location.
• Open-Meteo — provides weather and air-quality alerts for your area.
• Resend — delivers your message if you submit the feedback form.

Your device location is only sent when you grant permission or type in a location, and only to the specific service needed for that feature — it isn't stored on our end.

If you submit the feedback form, your message (and name/email if you provide them) is emailed directly to the Pet Life Journey developer. It isn't stored in a database or used for anything beyond responding to you.

No accounts, no analytics or advertising trackers, no cookies beyond what your browser uses for local storage, and no selling or sharing your data with third parties beyond the services listed above.

Pet Life Journey isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children. Questions about household composition (e.g., ages of children) are used only to tailor pet-safety recommendations and are stored locally on your device, never transmitted anywhere.
